The king of watches, unveiled what we would term ‘the queen of watches’ at Basel world 2019 – the new Rolex Date just for women. This year, Omega has reinforced its strength of creating beautiful and technically sound ladies dress watches – such as the Constellation and Lady matic series – with a new line called Trésor. These watches come in 36 or 39mm cases made of steel or 18-carat Sedna gold, featuring diamonds running down from the top-left lug to approximately the eight o’clock position and diagonally opposite to that. The dial, in black, white, taupe-brown, blue, opaline, silver or mother of pearl, features elongated Roman numeral hour markers, while you can choose a strap in leather or satin in various color options. The horizontal baguette movement in this dainty 39mm case features a half-moon on each side, which spawns innovative geometric symmetries. 5. Carl F. Bucherer Adamavi Automatic – A Milanese Mesh For Your Wrist
This all-steel timepiece from Carl F. Bucherer is a perfect neutral-toned watch. One of the nine new and updated Adamavi variations, this one comes in a round, 31mm steel case, water resistant to 30m, and runs on an automatic movement, the CFB 1963 calibre with a power reserve of 38 hours. With applied baton hour markers and central timekeeping hands, the date is seen through an aperture at three o’clock on the silver dial. Evocative of the bite-sized sweet treats are the new Petit Fours by Nomos Glashütte, who take their classic Tetra models a notch ahead. This new series includes four versions: Azure, Pearl, Grenadine and Matcha. These thin, square beauties featuring double lugs are powered by the hand-wound calibre Alpha, which is the most produced movement in the Glashütte workshops. Apart from being eye-candy, each Petit Four timepiece ensures precision and style.
